Dr. Joseph Musselman was an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill when he realized his true calling as a dentist. He returned to his hometown to attend Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He accepted a postgraduate position in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, where he focused on techniques in esthetics, implant restoration, and complex oral rehabilitation.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Musselman frequently attends courses to stay on the cutting edge of the rapidly changing field of dentistry. He is a firm believer in the benefits of early diagnosis, preventive care, and conservative treatment. Dr. Musselman believes that comprehensive care is achieved through patient education, communication, and clinical excellence.
Dr. Musselman is an optimist. He is meticulous, thorough, and committed. Having grown up playing sports, he knows that teamwork is the best way to reach a goal. In his free time, Dr. Musselman loves to travel, hike, and play golf. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife Rae, and their two young children.
Dr. Rae Musselman discovered her passion for dentistry as an undergraduate student at Cal Poly University. While doing summer research in a hospital, she happened upon a patient in the emergency room who was tearfully expressing gratitude for the dental treatment he received from the resident dentist. The experience sparked her interest in improving people’s lives through dentistry. Dr. Musselman attended Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, graduating at the top of her class, Summa Cum Laude. She then pursued advanced post-doctoral training by completing a rigorous, hospital-based residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. While there, she gained extensive experience in complex full mouth reconstruction and implant restoration. With a knack for listening to people and responding to their individual needs, Dr. Musselman firmly believes that the most rewarding aspect of dentistry is connecting to her patients on a personal level.
Drs. Joe and Rae Musselman met at Temple University and married in 2013. They have since been blessed with two children. When Dr. Rae Musselman isn’t chasing the kids, she enjoys hiking, cooking and reading. She loves recommendations for healthy recipes and great books.
